This study tests the hypothesis that the death of pastures of Brachiaria brizantha is caused by the lack of adaptation of this grass to the predominant soil types in Acre, which have low permeability. Amazon Region: Acre and Rondônia, Brazil. (Project leader: Judson Ferreira Valentim).
