Working Group on Economic and Social Indicators: Report on Methods for the ASB Matrix, November 2000.

ABSTRACT:

This report discusses in detail the analytical methods and fieldwork required to meet the objectives of social science and policy research associated with ASB Phase II both within and across ASB benchmark sites. It addresses the various economic, policy and institutional factors that influence adoptability of various land-use systems by smallholders, using data from ASB research conducted in Cameroon, Brazil, and Indonesia.
