| Abstract | This book is a synthesis of the first decade of ASB’s work, written by a team of 79 soil scientists, economists, ecologists, anthropologists, and foresters encompassing 26 nationalities. Forty-one of them are national scientists affiliated with government research institutes, universities, and nongovernmental organizations of eight tropical countries, and 26 others are affiliated with international agricultural research centers. |
