| Abstract | The approximately 20% of CO2 emissions that are lost as a result of forest and peat land degradation have been neglected in the purview of climate change mechanisms. This paper gives an estimate of CO2 emissions from different land use systems and the corresponding opportunity costs for avoided deforestation of Indonesian peat lands. |
