| Abstract | Currently, 80% of existing pastures in Acre are formed with the grass Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu. The replacement of forest areas with high diversity of plants, for homogeneous ecosystems, increases the risk of occurrence of pests and diseases that can cause degradation of these pastures. |
