| Abstract | Decision making is normally based on narrowing down the number of available options and condensing the expected outcome of the various choices into simple indicators. In theory, if it were possible to synthesize such indicators into a single overall value, then it may seem that decision making could be stripped of its emotions and subjectivity and become simply a matter of selecting the option with the highest overall value associated with it. |
