AbstractThe phase II of the alternatives to slash-and-burn in Indonesia is presented. This phase seeks to intensify land use as an alternative to the shifting cultivation system which simultaneously can reduce deforestation and poverty. The report draws data from the first phase and other data to focus on outputs associated with the linking of global environmental benefits to sustainable alternatives to slash-and-burn in Indonesia.
