Parallel Event Shaping the Global Agenda for Forests and Climate Change Poznan, 6 December 2008
Forest Day will bring together the world’s pre-eminent forest stakeholders, agenda setters and policy makers to address the key forest and climate issues of our time.

The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is a co-host of Forest Day 2 and will be participating in various aspects of the event.

ICRAF is also co-organizing two Cross-Cutting Themes:

Theme 1 Adaptation of forests to climate change – Bridging the gap between knowledge and action Organised by IUFRO, CIFOR, ICRAF and PROFOR-WB (ICRAF’s Director General Dennis Garrity will be a panellist)
Theme 2 Global REDD architecture. Organised by CIFOR and ICRAF
