Biophysical studies are interrelated with socio-economic, regional and central government policy. Each of these research topics involving several researchers of different disciplines (interdisciplinary) and, different institutions (across institutions). To be able to optimize teamwork and acquire research results as expected, it would require a methodology for harmonization and effective teamwork. One methodology that is useful for that purpose is PRA. Lokakrya goal is to introduce methodologies including PRA RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal), theories and techniques in the implementation. In addition, discussion also about the recent issues about the slash-burn in the homeland and the experience of other countries. Then study the material improvements and issues are associated with slash and burn in order to sharpen the research, both in terms of both biophysical and social and economic.</style></abstract><call-num><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">PR0007-04</style></call-num></record></records></xml>
